Can Chat | Witt Machine Canooter Valve

What’s up, everybody.
New Can Chat is up. This time we’re looking at the Witt Machine Canooter Valve — the tiny .223/5.56 can that claims to be hearing-safe, full-auto rated, and still short enough that it barely changes the length of your rifle.

Specs that matter:
3.9" overall / only adds about 3.2" to the barrel
8.4 oz
1.125" diameter
416 stainless
Direct thread ½-28
Integrated flash hider
Claimed no blowback through the charging handle
Full-auto rated on 7"+ barrels

Witt’s marketing line is pure gold: “According to members of our family a Canooter Valve doesn’t exist, kind of like a box of grid squares… until now.” Goal was a compact, affordable can (suppressor + stamp under $500) that still does real work.

In the video I run it, talk about the size/weight trade-offs, how it actually sounds and feels on the host, flash, gas, and whether the “hearing safe” claim holds up in the real world. Short version: it’s one of the smallest 5.56 cans you’ll put on a rifle, and it punches above its size in a few areas while reminding you that physics still exists in others.

If you’re running a short barrel, want something that doesn’t turn your SBR into a spear, or you’re just curious about the budget-compact end of the market, this one’s worth a look.
